New Office is a Big Move for Point Pleasant

low_resPoint Pleasant Communications has moved to new offices at Hoults Yard in the east end of Newcastle upon Tyne. The new premises, located in the creative community centred on Hoults Yard, will allow Point Pleasant to expand as it continues to attract new clients in the North East and beyond.

"I first came across Hoults Yard at a networking event and I'm very excited about what they're trying to do here," said Rob Lawson, Managing Director of Point Pleasant. "For us, it's about taking the business to the next level and this is the perfect base on which to move forward.

South Tyneside Homes Appoints Point Pleasant

homesSouth Tyneside Homes has appointed Point Pleasant Communications to prepare articles for its internal and external newsletters. The local PR company will research and draft all copy for the fortnightly Staff Matters publication and for Housing Matters, a quarterly customer magazine that is distributed to more than 40,000 homes in the area.

The appointment will enable South Tyneside Homes to build on its commitment to deliver high quality written materials and communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Rob Makes His Point with New PR Venture

lores2South Shields-born Rob Lawson has returned to his roots with the launch of a new public relations company, based at the Quadrus Centre in Boldon.  

Rob, 30, decided to set up Point Pleasant Communications after leaving his role as an account director in the Newcastle office of a national PR agency. He then worked with South Tyneside Means Business and Jarrow-based TEDCO to identify training and support opportunities for start-up ventures in the borough.
